Whilst children are at the centre of all our evolutions and innovations, one of our main aims is to make sure we give teachers the right tools to make encouraging and motivating children easy and fun.

School Stickers, the foundation on which The Carrot Comapany was built, is a physical rewards system created by a teacher who wanted to make rewarding children easier and more fun for himself and his peers.

Since then, we have continued to evolve and innovate whilst always making sure we look at it from a teacher’s point of view.

When teachers asked us to find a way of gaining more engagement from children, we added codes to our printed rewards and created MyStickers.

That meant children were more engaged as they could log their rewards and use them to claim prizes and update an online Buddy.

When schools told us they needed a central rewards system, we created Carrot Rewards.

That saved teachers time and moved managing the whole school’s rewards scheme from spreadsheets and scraps of paper to an online system that fed off the unique codes children use for MyStickers.

Schools and teachers also use Carrot Rewards to run competitions and award prizes. We also made sure Carrot Rewards was accessible by making it a free to use.

When teachers who used our printed rewards independently told us they wanted something similar to Carrot Rewards but at a classroom level, we created Classroom Carrots.

That means teachers can manage reward schemes in their own classrooms for free. Based on feedback from teachers, we also made sure Classroom Carrots was available to use on interactive whiteboards, smartphones and tablets.

Giving teachers the right tools to create a fun, engaging classroom is at the heart of everything we do and we’re always listening to feedback to see how we can innovate further.
