MyRewards is our most recent innovation and was released to the App Store in November 2013. The app is available on iPhone and iPad and we’ve got big plans for future releases.

We receive such positive feedback from teachers and parents about how the tools we provide encourage self-motivation and better behaviour in children at school that we wanted to continue it when children are at home.

We looked at many ways of translating our school tools to the home environment and found that the way to make it both fun and accessible for both parents and children was to release an iOS app.

In it’s simplest form, MyRewards gives parents the ability to award virtual stickers to their children that can be exchanged for rewards from something as simple as an ice cream to something as big as a holiday.

Parents can set up Tasks that their children aim to complete. We’ve chosen suggested Tasks as examples, things like finishing homework, but the best bit is parents can add bespoke Tasks and decide how many stickers they think completing that task is worth.

Once children have completed enough tasks, they can exchange them for every day Rewards like new books. Think of it as a fun way of earning virtual pocket money.

We also give parents the option to set up Milestones; something that parents really want their children to work towards and feel good about achieving. Whereas Rewards are every day treats a Milestone is something big like a trip to a theme park or a new computer game. To complete the Milestone and get the prize children must complete a number of tasks by a certain date.

MyRewards is fun, engaging and gives parents a tool that they can use to encourage better behaviour at home using a rewards system that is proven to work in thousands of schools.
