When we first started printing School Stickers, they were just rewards that were handed out and kept on wall charts in the classroom. Then some bright spark suggested printing them with a unique code and storing them online.

And that’s how MyStickers came to life.

All of our School Stickers printed rewards come with a unique code and, after teachers have awarded them, children log their code on MyStickers.

Over 700,000 children have logged over 4 million stickers since it launched with 1 million stickers logged in the past 12 months.

Once a reward is logged it is then unlocked online in the children’s personal sticker album and, most importantly, each reward logged on MyStickers counts towards any incentive or prize scheme being run by their school.

As an added bonus, even if a school isn't participating in a prize scheme, The Carrot Company gives out prizes on a regular basis as an added incentive.

MyStickers also gives younger children an online avatar that we refer to as their Buddy. The children’s Buddy can be fully customised with accessorises earned by logging reward codes and is a proven way of getting children fully engaged and involved in a reward system.

It means teachers get better involvement from children and there is a greater level of self-motivation in the classroom. All codes logged on MyStickers are also linked to Carrot Rewards and that allows teachers to run competitions, set up league tables and award prizes across the whole school.

Parents can also get involved by signing up to the Parent Portal on MyStickers. This gives parents an insight into the rewards logged by their children and allows them to play an active role in their achievements at school.

As well as seeing which rewards are logged, parents can leave their children messages of encouragement, which spurs them on to achieve over and over again. Over 5,000 parents have signed up within the first 12 months of Parent Portal’s launch.
